Cobot Welding System with Multi-Axis Coordinated Motion

THG Automation will highlight one of its Universal Robots and Fronius cobot welding systems featuring multi-axis coordinated motion.

With THG's coordinated motion technology, fabricators can:

  • Synchronize the weld path across robot and positioner axes
  • Maintain ideal torch angles throughout the weld
  • Improve access to complex joints
  • Boost part quality and repeatability by moving in a single, programmed motion.

"It is a powerful tool for any shop looking to take on larger or more intricate parts-without sacrificing precision or speed," said a company spokesperson.

THG builds scalable welding and cutting systems designed to fit customer parts and workflows, from single stations to full production lines. It works with brands that include Universal Robots, Fronius, Hypertherm and iPG.
