Solutions Help Operators Maintain Clean Operations

Mayfran International, a single-source designer, manufacturer and project manager for conveyor systems, has introduced the latest extension of its AT-Cleaner series: the AT Mobile Separator.

"Mayfran's AT-Cleaner coolant filtration system, when used with a separator conveyor, can extend coolant, pump and tool life while improving costs and efficiency," said a company spokesperson. "The AT Mobile Separator is a crucial addition to the AT-Cleaner line, providing additional flexibility and convenience."

The AT-Cleaner Side Stream Package can be integrated into any chip conveyor and coolant tank to reduce floor space and piping requirements. It can also be retrofitted into existing chip conveyors. The pump sends coolant with sludge particles to the AT-Cleaner, which removes most of them to 10-micron nominal. Then the cleaned coolant is discharged back into the tank near the system pumps.

For operations that service multiple machines, the AT Mobile Separator offers the same cyclonic cleaning as the side stream package, with the added advantage of being able to move between machines. The AT Mobile Separator uses a heavy-duty marine pump to carry dirty coolant and particulate matter to an external sludge bin for easy cleanup and removal.
