Dallas Industries Acquires Coil Feed Business Unit of U. S. Machine Co.

Dallas Industries, a manufacturer of press feeding equipment and controls for the stamping industry, announced that it has purchased the coil feed business of U. S. Machine Company, Inc. in Fraser, MI.

The acquisition includes the patents, engineering drawings and copyrights of the coil feed business unit of U.S. Machine, a design, engineering and manufacturing firm.

The move provides Dallas Industries enhanced equipment options for markets using heavy gauge material, especially when space is at a premium. This move also opens potentially new markets and runs concurrently to the company's announcement of an additional 24,000 sq. ft. as well as the addition of another facility near its current location.

According to Willie Chacko, CEO of Dallas Industries, "We have increased our product offering and opened up new markets with the acquisition of the coil feed business of U. S. Machine. This move gives a pivotal boost to our company's capabilities and is further expression of the recent growth of our company."

Joe Gentilia, President of Dallas Industries, added, "The history and reputation of U.S. Machine is well known in the industry. The unit we purchased will extend our expertise in coil feed systems and allow us to keep up with market demands and global competition."

Dallas Industries' full line of products includes conventional and compact coil feed lines, servo feeds, air feeds, heavy-duty straighteners and coil handling equipment.
