Hummock Industries Acquires National Bronze Manufacturing

Hummock Industries has announced the acquisition of National Bronze Manufacturing located in Roseville, MI. As one of Detroit's oldest companies, National Bronze has expertise in precision machined bronze bearings, bushings and wear plates, as well as copper alloy bar and tube distribution.
"National Bronze is a great fit for us and helps complement our current operating subsidiary, Heyco Metals," said Michael Jemison, President and CEO of Hummock Industries. "We expect to realize synergies and cross-marketing opportunities, but, most importantly, National Bronze brings us diversification of revenue streams and a platform to grow downstream into value-added engineered products."
National Bronze Manufacturing was established in 1911 and is one of the largest manufacturers of bronze bushings, bearings and other industrial precision components. National Bronze also operates a full metal service center for bronze, brass and copper bar stock, as well as finished products for customers worldwide.
Hummock Industries is a family-owned holding company focused on long-term investments in North American based manufacturing operations. Hummock is a spin-off from Heyco Inc., with roots dating back to 1926. The company currently operates Heyco Metals, a precision re-roll mill of copper, copper alloy and stainless steel coil. National Bronze now joins Heyco Metals as an operating subsidiary of Hummock Industries.
