Phillips Corporation and EOS North America Expand Partnership

Phillips Corporation, a solutions provider of subtractive and additive manufacturing (AM) technology products and services, has expanded its commercial territory offering EOS AM technology to include four new states: Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland and eastern Pennsylvania-growing its total East Coast presence to 12 states. This expansion strengthens Phillips' portfolio of technology products and services that already includes CNC machining centers, industrial automation systems, AM technology and services.

In 2016, EOS, an OEM of qualified metal and polymer AM technology, successfully engaged Phillips Federal to represent the company in Federal Governmental contracts with the Department of Energy, Department of Defense and National Laboratories through the General Services Administration. The organization went on to grow its AM understanding and consultative capabilities and the Channel Partner relationship with EOS has bloomed to now include much of the Eastern U.S.

"Phillips is our standout industry partner capable of running projects through its Additive Innovation Center inside the U.S. Army's Rock Island Center of Excellence in Illinois," said Andrew Snow, Senior Vice President at EOS North America. "Additionally, the company was the very first Certified Training Partner of our Additive Minds applied engineering team, allowing them to support customers in identifying use cases for 3D printing and jump starting their production."

According to a spokesperson, "This expanded agreement is a testament to the exponential growth of AM and strengthens the competitive positioning for both organizations. Together, Phillips and EOS are now providing valuable expertise and education to inspire engineers to `think additively' and more quickly move their ideas from the whiteboard to reality."

"Phillips Corporation is pleased to expand its partnership with EOS, the worldwide leader in industrial 3D printing technology. Our organization now has the ability to offer EOS's innovative AM solutions to a broader range of commercial customers in the U.S.," said John Harrison, Director of AM at Phillips. "As the AM industry continues to experience explosive growth, EOS and Phillips will be at the forefront, providing an end-to-end solution and legendary customer support ensuring the success of our clients."
