Advances in Precision Fabricating Event October 19-22

Capital Machine Technologies, Inc. has announced its Advances in Precision Fabricating event, taking place October 19-22, at Capital's Atlanta Technology & Training Center. Attendees will experience live demos from metal fabrication and robotic welding builders.

Visitors can see the high-speed Mazak Optonics OPTIPLEX 3015 FIBER III 10 kW Laser, equipped with the new 19" LCD touchscreen PreviewG Control (which operates much like a smartphone or tablet). The OPTIPLEX 3015 FIBER III monitors anomalies through the Multi-Control Torch's sensors to improve throughput and to deliver on part quality.

The latest addition to Capital's family of premier builders is. Yaskawa America, Inc., Motoman Robotics Division. With more than 450,000 installations, this new partnership enables Capital to offer Yaskawa solutions for arc welding, material handling and machine tending. With several robots under power, the show will preview Yaskawa's new collaborative robotic (cobot) technology.

Another recent addition to Capital Machine's offerings is the FlexCNC Vertical Machining Center. The FlexCNC VMC ranges in size from 10' to 80' long. In addition to standard sizes, the company designs and builds custom machines to suit customer needs. These machines are capable of high-speed drilling and milling of large parts in one set-up with less repositioning.

Advanced bending technology will be under power from multiple sources including Schroder's PowerBend Industrial Folding machine, Safan's Electric Press Brakes with Yaskawa Cobot Tending and the latest Accurpress with Vision Control. These machines will be operating with the latest tooling available from Wila and Wilson.

Other industry builders featured at the event will include OMAX Waterjet Cutting, Capital Robotics, Euromac CNC Punching, Davi Plate Rolls, OTC DAIHEN, Timesavers Finishing, Hyd-mech Band Saw and more.

Capital will be hosting two full days of the event on Tuesday, October 19, and Wednesday, October 20, from 9 AM to 4 PM.

For customers preferring more privacy and individual attention, Capital is offering dedicated time slots on Thursday and Friday (October 21 and 22). Visitors are encouraged to reserve a spot with a salesman since the time slots tend to fill up quickly. Register at bit.ly/CapitalAdvancesEvent.
