KAM Continues Growth in Hybrid Manufacturing

"Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing (KAM) continues its accelerated growth in hybrid manufacturing with the completion of key industry certifications in ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D," said a company spokesperson. "These certifications set strict quality standards and guidelines in the aerospace and defense industries and further speak to KAM's commitment to quality. With the certifications in place, KAM will be able to further diversify into these sectors and others such as automotive and transportation."

"The certification process can often take a year or more to complete. With quality and speed at its core, KAM founder and CEO, Brad Keselowski, and his team completed the process in just under six months," continued the spokesperson.

"When we started the business, we knew one day we would need to have these essential certifications under our belt to do the level of work envisioned with KAM," said Keselowski. "I am so proud of the entire KAM team for getting this accomplished in such a short amount of time. It is truly impressive."

In addition to accomplishing ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certifications, the company continues its expansion of machines and equipment. Recently KAM took delivery of:

  • Mazak i800 VARIAXIS
  • Mazak Quick Turn 350MSY CNC lathe
  • Starrett optical comparator
  • Vacuum furnace
  • Four additional EOS printers
  • Dye penetrant line / inspection line.

Jim Thompson, KAM Director of Operations, said, "These additional investments we have coming down the pipeline really hammer home the power and flexibility of our vertical business model. Combined with our in-house metallurgical laboratory, metrology, digital radiography and hybrid manufacturing capabilities, we have a wide spectrum of resources available to service our customers' needs."

"KAM's expansion plans will continue into the fourth quarter, with the completion of a new state-of-the-art engineering center, as well as adding additional staff," said the spokesperson.
