Lantek Sheet Metal Solutions has signed a global collaboration agreement with the Sheet Metal (cutting, punching and bending) Division of DANOBATGROUP to ship Lantek software with its coil-fed laser blanking lines.
With this collaboration, DANOBAT Sheet Metal customers will have Lantek software on their coil-fed laser blanking lines and all their machines. They will also benefit from Lantek's global network of offices, technical service and distribution channels. "Lantek's experience in the metal industry will allow end customers to optimize processes and get the greatest return on machinery and software investments," said a Lantek spokesperson.
DANOBAT Sheet Metal is DANOBATGROUP's division specializing in metalworking technology development, manufacturing and distribution. DANOBAT is headquartered in Gipuzkoa, Spain, and has over 50 years of experience.
"From raw material to finished product, DANOBAT's machines encompass all metalworking processes," said a spokesperson. This includes the focus of the agreement: cutting-edge software provided by Lantek.
According to Juan José Colás, Lantek's Director of Sales and Marketing, "This agreement with DANOBATGROUP will allow us to offer our most advanced solutions, as well as our skills and know-how, to a broader client base, joining forces with a company known around the world."
"DANOBAT Sheet Metal has always been at the cutting-edge of technology due to its constant commitment to innovation at its research and development center," added a spokesperson. "DANOBAT will now be able to count on the experience of Lantek, a global leader in the field of CAD/CAM/MES/ERP software solutions for companies that manufacture metal parts from sheet, tubes and profiles with any cutting technology."
The new agreement is framed by Lantek's policy of encouraging collaboration with partners around the world. "The sustainable growth of Lantek is supported by collaboration, which is one of our fundamental characteristics. These partner agreements allow us to respond better to our clients. We believe the combined effort of two companies, such as DANOBAT and Lantek, is a great way to help make factories more efficient as they progress toward Industry 4.0," said Colás.
