OMAX Announces Promotions Within Management Team

Mike Ruppenthal and Steve Ulmer

OMAX Corporation has announced two changes to its management team. Mike Ruppenthal has been promoted to General Manager, and Steve Ulmer has been promoted to Vice President of Sales.

For the past seven years, Ruppenthal has served as OMAX's VP of North American Sales responsible for developing sales strategy across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining OMAX, he worked at Flow International for 11 years, in both sales and marketing. In his new role, Ruppenthal will oversee day-to-day operation of the OMAX organization. Ruppenthal said, "I have been fortunate to work with the exemplary talent here at OMAX and it is an honor to lead the OMAX team."

Ulmer has been the VP of International Sales at OMAX for over 10 years. Before that, he worked five years in a variety of territories selling OMAX products and managing distributors as a regional sales manager. In his new role, Ulmer will oversee all of OMAX's sales divisions, both internationally and domestically. "I look forward to all the positive potential of having OMAX product sales together under one division," said Ulmer.

Both shifts in the management team come after the merger of Hypertherm and OMAX.
