Koma Precision, Inc. will introduce extensive new lines of tool presetters from Elbo Controlli, as well as rotary tables from Tsudakoma and specialty angle heads from Alberti. Koma Precision will be responsible for sales, service and support of all models and accessories.
Koma Precision will feature two new lines of Tsudakoma rotary tables at IMTS 2014. The RG series with ball drive system will be on display with a live demonstration. According to the company, the RG series rotary tables are high-speed, high-accuracy, high-rigidity machines with zero backlash and zero maintenance. The RCB series is a new line of rotary tables from Tsudakoma. These tables feature an extra large through hole and are targeted for the energy and oil industries.
New to IMTS 2014 will be Alberti special application tools and extended reach modular tools. "Custom designed angle heads and stationary tools from KOMA Precision represent the state-of-the-art in ultra precision, application specific tooling," said a company spokesperson. "Koma custom angle heads and stationary tools are designed to facilitate enhanced precision when machining parts with demanding complexity."
New presetters on display will be the E346, 68B, Hathor Six, Sethy Six and Khyan TW. Koma also will display a Larth tool presetter and Khyan with a simulator. "All presetter models utilize Elbo Controlli's proprietary vision system, delivering the most accurate lighting system available," said the spokesperson.
Also new to the Koma booth will be a display of live tools for Swiss-type CNC machines. Koma Precision is a distributor of live and static tools for Swiss machines for Citizen-Cincom, Ganesh, Hanwha, Miyano, Nexturn, Nomura, Star, Swistek, Tornos and Tsugami machines. Designed and manufactured to OEM specifications, these live tools feature heavy-duty housings for increased rigidity and greater stability. Inbis tools are economically priced while still retaining maximum performance and quality, according to the company.
