Recycle Wash Water, Reduce Oily Disposal Costs

PRAB's Ultrafiltration Systems separate emulsified oils and suspended solids from wastewater and coolant, reducing oily water volumes by as much as 98% without the use of chemical additives, according to the company.

Fully assembled and tested, the system offers turnkey system for plant wastewater challenges. According to the company, most system investments meet less than a one-year simple payback.

Membrane technology provides filtration for a wide range of industrial applications, include machining and grinding, primary metals, wash water, die casting, stamping, vibratory deburring, pressure washing and more. Standard systems process between 100 and 6,000 gallons per day and larger systems are available.

Effluent water can be reused or discharged to sewer, helping to meet zero manifesting goals and comply with most federal, state and local regulations.
