Matsuura USA has announced the territory expansion of Precision Machine Tool Solutions (PMTS). PMTS will serve as the exclusive distributor for Matsuura machine tools in the states of Delaware and Maryland, as well as its current region of eastern Pennsylvania.
"PMTS was selected in recognition of the company's deep experience and detailed knowledge of the marketplace, as well as its success and major growth in the past seven years," said Matsuura USA President John Schwartz.
PMTS is a full service distributor providing factory trained service and applications engineering and experienced technicians. PMTS also provides replacement parts for all of the Matsuura products.
"Our local full-service distributorship has a year and a half of Matsuura experience, and has the ability to provide exceptional service and applications engineering with our experienced and knowledgeable technicians," said PMTS President Randy Heck. "We have a Matsuura MX-520 5-axis vertical machining center (VMC) on our showroom floor and we encourage visitors to come see this technology."
PMTS Open House October 16, 2014
PMTS will exhibit the Matsuura MX-520 5-axis VMC during its Open House on October 16, 2014, at its 8,000 sq. ft. facility. PMTS' Certified Service Technicians, as well as representatives from Matsuura, will be on hand for full demonstrations of the Matsuura MX-520 and its capabilities.
The Matsuura MX-520 is a single table 5-axis machine tool primarily aimed at companies making the transition from 3- to 5-axis operations. The MX-520 features an ergonomic design, which allows rapid set-up and processing of complex parts. CAMplete TruePath software and an integrated suite of G-code editing, optimization, analysis and verification tools are standard.
