Mazak has announced that longtime Mazak distributor A.W. Miller Technical Sales, Inc. will expand its territory to serve customers in eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and the southern half of New Jersey.

According to company President Dan Janka, Mazak's strategic approach matches the pace of Mazak innovation in terms of production requirements and increased customer demand. This approach also optimizes core competencies in various areas to ensure customers have access to the resources they need for success.

With a complete staff of applications engineers, service and support personnel, the company has established a long history as an exclusive Mazak distributor in Pennsylvania and New York. The company's territory expansion will increase Mazak customer access to solutions and support in a broad range of industries to improve innovation and efficiency.

In addition to new service technicians, several former Mazak personnel will also join A.W. Miller. Former northeast territory direct sales manager Bill Talley will join A.W. Miller to provide continuity in the transition. Jeremy Trout will assume the role of District Sales Manager and Nate Howell will become Sales Manager.
Customers in the eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and southern New Jersey markets can also take advantage of Mazak's Northeast Technology Center in Windsor Locks, CT. That facility works closely with manufacturers from all industry segments, with a special focus on the medical and jet engine/aerospace sector to generate innovation for increased productivity and efficiency.
