Hoffer Plastics Named `Business of the Year'

Hoffer Plastics Corporation, an innovator in the custom injection molding industry, was awarded as 2021's Business of the Year by the South Elgin Economic Development Council.

The South Elgin Economic Development Council, which is funded in part by the Village of South Elgin, works to facilitate local economic development and awards businesses for their local support. The council's efforts, such as installing welcome signs, helps to attract new businesses to the area, which ultimately enhances the success and growth of the village.
Hoffer Plastics Corporation employs more than 350 people in its 365,000 sq. ft. facility across 24 acres, where it produces more than 3 billion plastic parts annually and ships to countries around the globe. Hoffer has pioneered numerous product innovations, including the Trust-T-Lok line of safety closures for flexible pouch packages.
