Senseye Predictive Maintenance Analytics Now Available Through MindSphere

Smart factory environment

Senseye, a provider of predictive maintenance analytics, has announced a new partnership with Siemens to make Senseye's condition monitoring and prognostic software available to manufacturers through the MindSphere Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) operating system.

Launched in 2016, MindSphere is Siemens' open cloud environment for collecting and processing data produced by industrial machinery. It is used by organizations worldwide as the foundation for manufacturing process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.

Joining the global MindSphere Partner Program as a silver partner has made Senseye's software available for rapid deployment to users. Senseye is able to receive and analyze data from machines connected to MindSphere, enabling manufacturers to understand the health of their industrial assets and schedule maintenance activities more accurately, without any additional sensor or application investment, specialist staff or training.

Senseye's software is used by leading manufacturers in the automotive, heavy industry and consumer goods sectors to automatically assess the condition and remaining useful life of thousands of industrial machines. Customers have achieved reductions in maintenance costs of up to 40% and halved levels of unplanned downtime.

Simon Kampa, CEO of Senseye, commented: "Manufacturers feeding data into the MindSphere environment can now connect with Senseye and start gaining new insight into the current and future condition of shop floor machinery and industrial plants in just a matter of hours. Our partnership with Siemens is great news for Senseye and manufacturers alike; delivering accurate, automated and scalable predictive maintenance has never been so easy."

Paul Kaeley, Senior Vice President, Global Partner Ecosystem at Siemens PLM Software, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Senseye as a silver partner to the MindSphere partner ecosystem. Modern manufacturing machines and industrial equipment generate huge amounts of data, and applications such as Senseye can enable organizations to take the right actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their maintenance operations."
