HFO Midwest Tips @ Tip-Off Event March 9 in Lebanon, IN

On Wednesday, March 9, the day of the Big Ten Basketball Tournament tip-off in Indianapolis, HFO Midwest will hold a Tips @ Tip-Off event at its all-new Hoosier headquarters in Lebanon, IN. The event will feature a full day of machining technology delivered by experts in cutting tools, toolholders, CAM software and machine tools.

Attendees to Tips @ Tip-Off will be able to select from one of two learning sessions, both of which share the same content. The morning session will take place 9 AM - noon, and the afternoon session 1 PM - 4 PM. All attendees will enjoy a Halftime Lunch Break where traditional pub fare will be served as Big Ten action is streamed on multiple screens.

During the event HSM Works will present CAM software topics tailored to the job shop, Mitsubishi Carbide will present the latest trends in cutting tool technology and Haimer USA will share toolholding technology. The HFO Midwest team will showcase the latest trends in technology from Haas Automation, including new machine tool platforms that enable manufacturers to perform milling and turning operations in a single set-up.

The March 9th event will be held at HFO Midwest's new Indiana Tech Center, which is co-located within the Gene Haas Training and Education Center in Lebanon, IN. The facility features 13 Haas machine tools for students enrolled at Vincennes University to gain hands-on experience as part of their learning curriculum. An additional eight Haas CNC machine tools are under power on the floor of the HFO Midwest Tech Center.
