Morris Midwest, a division of Morris Group, Inc., will hold its fifth annual open house and technology show, Morris Madness, on March 15-16 in Roselle, IL. The event will feature demos and displays from Okuma, Tsugami and Hardinge Group in addition to tooling and accessories from leading suppliers. Event hours are 9 AM to 5 PM daily.
"Our productivity specialists and application engineers have partnered with leading suppliers of tooling, accessories, software and other products to exhibit innovative, productivity-enhancing technology on our builders' most popular and sophisticated machine tool models," said Mike James, Regional Sales Manager, Illinois at Morris Midwest. "Demos will focus on how to accelerate production and improve profitability by reducing part handling and other interruptions in the machining process."
Live cutting demos will be featured on more than 20 machines including horizontal lathes, Swiss types, horizontal machining centers (HMCs) including twin turret and 4-axis models, traditional and 5-axis vertical machining centers (VMCs) and multifunction machines.
"We are pulling out all the stops again this year," added James. "The machining capabilities and process improvements we will exhibit represent only a fraction of what Morris Midwest offers customers."
Morris Midwest shares its Roselle facility with Okuma America Corporation and Tsugami/Rem Sales. Equipped with training and presentation rooms, the facility doubles as a regional technical center for Okuma and its Partners in THINC program. Product specialists and representatives from leading technology suppliers will be in attendance and available both days to discuss latest advancements. Catered lunch and refreshments will be served.
