Bench Top Assembly System
December 1, 2013
The RP Series features pre-loaded lead screws and ball slides in each axis for enhanced performance.
On-board history file stamps date/time with height/force to each assembly for production logging and reporting
The system requires only a few settings to be entered for controlling the motion path, material, speeds, etc.
"Pick and place modules with programmable height and force control assure consistent assemblies to the most stringent specifications," said a company spokesperson.
The Robotic Placement (RP) Series is designed to be a complete solution for automatically assembling chips, sensors and small electronic components to boards and devices with precision and accuracy, according to Dispense Works.
An automated vision system optimized for miniature components adds pattern recognition and theta correction along with inspection. Servo dispensing down to 180 micron (0.007") diameter is offered, with controlled real time vector velocity moves.
Fixturing for boards, waffle trays, pallets and custom carriers are available.
