Welding Helmet with Super Single Auto-Darkening Filter

WALTER has introduced the PIPEFITTER Welding Helmet Series, engineered for metalworkers who require rugged durability, optical clarity, and all-day comfort.

Each helmet in the PIPEFITTER Series comes pre-equipped with WALTER's Super Single or Singles Auto-Darkening Filter (ADF), removing the need to upgrade to an ADF lens on a standard passive welding helmet.

Featuring HD Technology and a generous 5.25 sq. in. (2" x 4") viewing area, the PIPEFITTER Series provides greater clarity of the arc and work surface-reducing eye strain and enhancing weld precision, while a quick-change cover plate system minimizes downtime swapping cover plates.

The series includes two models: the S240-10-0400 features ADF with a fixed shade of 10 and a TIG rating of 50 amps; while the SS240-V-0400 offers enhanced functionality with a variable shade range of 6-13, variable delay control, an internal digital display, and a lower TIG rating of 10 amps.

"Crafted with a heat-resistant fiberglass blend, the PIPEFITTER helmet combines durability with crystal-clear visibility and superior face and eye coverage," said Philip Laforest, Senior Product Manager for Safety at WALTER. "Its lightweight and wide design can fit comfortably over glasses, making PIPEFITTER the ideal choice for safer welding and all-day comfort."
