The Mazak INTEGREX i-250H ST Multi-Tasking Center features part-processing agility with the power of a full CNC turning center and the versatility of a full-function machining center. For DONE IN ONE machining, the INTEGREX i-250H ST features a second turning spindle (S), along with a milling spindle and lower turret (T) with optional rotary tool capabilities. This configuration boosts productivity with minimal fixturing, part handling, and less noncut time, the company reported.
The main spindle incorporates an 8" chuck and produces a maximum speed of 5,000 RPM from a 25 HP (18.5 kW) 40% ED spindle motor. The maximum machining diameter is 26.380" (670 mm), and the main spindle's 16.535" (420 mm) over lower turret and diameter bore accommodates bar stock up to 2.56" (65 mm) in diameter.
The milling spindle provides B-axis travel with a minimum of 0.0001° contouring and with cutting speeds up to 12,000 RPM. An automatic tool changer supplies the milling spindle from a 38, 74, or 112-tool magazine.
The machine's parallel-type 12-tool lower turret enables balanced cutting with the milling spindle and lower turret or simultaneous machining with two tools. The turret accommodates 1" (25 mm) turning tools or 1.26" (32 mm) diameter boring bars.
The machine enclosure, tool magazine, and optional auto jaw changer accommodate a comprehensive range of automation technologies, including gantry loaders, bar feeders, and articulating robots.
