Kansas-Oklahoma Machine Tools Announces Appointments

Stan Bittman

Brad Haas

Kansas-Oklahoma Machine Tools, Inc. (KOMT) announced that Brad Haas has been appointed the President of the company, succeeding Bill Farris who will continue his career with KOMT as Chairman of the Board. KOMT has also appointed Stan Bittman as Vice President.

Brad Haas

Haas has over 24 years of sales experience and began his career with KOMT in 2013.

"His success as a sales engineer and vice president of KOMT makes him the ideal choice to lead KOMT as President. Brad has proven his ability to lead and grow the company through added industry partnerships, new/innovative technology offerings and talent acquisition," said Farris.

Haas holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in marketing and minor in management from Wichita State University. He is a Certified Manufacturing Technology Sales Engineer (CMTSE), participates in several local trade organizations and is part of AMT's Leadership Forum.

"I would like to thank all of the employee owners at KOMT for your continued confidence in my ability to successfully lead our company into a prosperous future," said Haas.

Stan Bittman

As Vice President of KOMT, Bittman will be responsible for maintaining relationships with builders and customers, strategic business development, implementation of sales strategies and evaluation of the success of KOMT in achieving its goals.

Bittman has over 43 years in the machine tool industry, 37 of those being with KOMT as a sales engineer out of the Oklahoma City office. A graduate of Norman High School (Norman, OK) and Foster Estes Vo-Tech, Bittman began his early career as a machinist, then moved into maintenance and service of machine tools at various manufacturing facilities in Oklahoma. Prior to joining KOMT, he was a field service technician for the Kearney and Trecker Corporation. He has also been certified as a CMTSE.

"I am extremely grateful for the opportunity KOMT presented me back in 1986 to transition from the service side to the sales side of the machine tool industry. I look forward to my new role as Vice President and the continued growth and success of KOMT," said Bittman.
