Marion Manufacturing Company is continuing the tradition of being a family-owned business with its recent personnel appointments.
Tyler Johnson, the son of President Douglas Johnson, has been named Plant Manager. He is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure optimized production.
Johnson joined Marion Manufacturing Company in 2015. He completed an extensive journeyman toolmaker program through a local Connecticut school.
"Tyler's strong analytical and mathematical skills, along with his attention to detail, have established his expertise in creating tools and designs," said a company spokesperson.
Ashley Wells, Douglas Johnson's daughter, has been named Marketing Director. Wells was previously an elementary school teacher for 13 years.
"Ashley brings her creative and innovative skills from teaching to this new marketing position, and we are excited to see where she will lead the company," said the spokesperson.
Marion is a progressive die stamper with a worldwide customer base in the medical, automotive, aerospace, telecommunications and electronics industries, among others.
