Mold & Die Components Feature Custom Sizes and Details

Custom core pins, sleeves, ejector pins, blades and punches fabricated in special shapes and sizes for manufacturing medical and electronic devices have been introduced by Regal Components, Inc.

Regal Special Mold & Die Components are precision machined from a variety of grades of tool steels. They feature tip diameters as small as 0.002", lengths to 14", tolerances to ±0.000050" and surface finishes to 2 RMS.

Suitable for a wide range of OEM requirements, they can incorporate details including tapers, rings, vents, ribs and spirals shaped using wire EDM. Treatments such as draw polish, plating and coatings can be applied for additional wear resistance and lubricity, if needed.

The components are manufactured from tool steels such as M-2, A-2, A-10, H-13, S-7, PM-M4, PM-10V and PM-15V to optimize toughness and wear resistance; 420SS and 440SS for corrosion resistance; and beryllium-free copper alloys for optimum thermal values.
