RoboJob USA Hosted Automation Event

RoboJob USA recently hosted an in-person event to provide an opportunity for machining businesses and embedded shops to learn and share experiences on the current state of automation.
The Discover CNC Automation event focused on addressing the key issues facing machining in today's environment: labor shortages amid increasing demand for services, reshoring, the manufacturing skills gap and what is expected in the coming years, and supply chain challenges.
More than 50 machining and related businesses participated in the event, and attendees heard from presenters who have effectively applied newer, purpose-built automation and robotic solutions to counteract the above-referenced challenges.
The participants also toured a working machining operation that has widely applied automation to drive cost-mitigation and extend capacity despite being in a labor-constrained and high fixed rent geography to maintain competitiveness.
