Koma Precision Appoints Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast

Koma Precision, Inc. announced that Dan Schnars has been appointed Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast. He will be responsible for all sales activities in the Southeast U.S. and Eastern Canada. This position was previously held by long time Koma veteran Ken Irish, who will be retiring on October 1. Irish and Schnars will be working together during this transition.

In his new role, Schnars will focus on new business development for machine tooling accessories in key manufacturing sectors including automotive, aerospace, agriculture, construction, fluids control, energy, mining, oil and mold and die. He previously served as the manufacturing engineer for Joe Gibbs Racing out of Charlotte, NC.

Schnars stated, "I am proud to say I am now part of the Koma Precision, Inc. team. I am looking forward to learning all about the production side of the business and how our products can make parts better, faster and more profitable."

Schnars is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing, and has an extensive background in precision manufacturing technology. Schnars holds a bachelor degree from Strayer University in mechanical engineering and management.
