Advanced 5-Axis Machines

Since its inception in 1999, Vision Wide has grown to three factories with over 500,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. The Taiwan based builder of double column bridge machining centers is introducing more new models of 5-axis series machines specifically designed for the aerospace, die-mold and composite industries.

These machines will feature multiple spindles and RPM types from 10,000 RPM HSK-100A to the high speed 24,000 RPM HSK-63A spindles. All machines will utilize specially designed castings and an advanced thermal system for high accuracy blends in long running die-mold and aerospace parts. Vision Wide builds more than six different models with sizes ranging from 1.5 meters to over 12 meters in X travels and 1.2 to over 5 meters in the Y (cross) travels, and most are offered with and without turning for one and done machining concepts. "Vision Wide's complete expertise results in a total solution, from simple double column machines to highly complex 5-axis models that machine aerospace composite and aluminum wing spar components," said a spokesperson.

Vision Wide double column and gantry 5-axis machining centers include:

  • FA five axis series
  • GSF series high rail gantry 3-, 4- and 5-axis
  • GSF-TC series high rail gantry 5-axis with a large turning table
  • ASM 1,000 mm to 1,600 mm style 5-axis universal head with turning
  • ADM 5-axis composite machining.

Vision Wide machining centers are imported by CNC Systems Inc. with locations in California and New England.
