CAMCO Names Senior Applications Engineer

CAMCO, the authorized reseller for GibbsCAM in the Northeast, is expanding its team with recent hire Andrew Ward as Senior Applications Engineer. Ward brings over 20 years of manufacturing experience to his role providing technical support to customers and manufacturing expertise to the sales team.
Ward has held many positions in the manufacturing sector, including optimizing machining processes for large aerospace customers, designing post-processors for several CAM systems, engineering/production manager, and as a GibbsCAM reseller. Most recently Ward worked for Autodesk as a technical consultant, using his extensive CAM experience to create training assets and post-processors for the CAM group.
"I am excited about working with CAMCO and GibbsCAM," said Ward. "As part of my last two jobs in the industry I used GibbsCAM frequently, and the software never let me down. I am looking forward to helping customers get the best out of their CNC machines."
