Starrag Names Regional Sales Manager Northeast

Starrag has named Jim Stolo Regional Sales Manager Northeast.

Stolo has spent his entire career working in manufacturing and machine tools, starting with a four-year apprenticeship in tool and die, and then as a journeyman machinist. After completing vocational studies in CAD/CAM/CNC and Manufacturing Engineering Technologies at Mohawk Valley Community College and B.O.C.E.S., he worked for several years as a manufacturing engineer and project manager. Then, in late 2010, he went on to work as an application engineer for a large machine tool manufacturer focusing on 5-axis milling, turning and grinding. Later for the same company he became a product manager for the factories in Germany supporting the North American sales teams and corresponding market. Stolo has an extensive background in aerospace, turbomachinery, mold and die, energy and medical, overseeing many large-scale and complex turn-key projects.
