Clips and Clamps' First Servo Press Adds Flexibility

Clips & Clamps' first servo press, an AIDA 300 Ton Unitized Frame, Model DSF-N2-3000

Full service metalforming solutions specialist Clips & Clamps Industries, located in Plymouth, MI, has installed its first servo press, an AIDA 300 ton unitized frame direct drive servo press, model DSF-N2-3000.

"This AIDA servo press brings new capabilities and flexibility to Clips & Clamps' press room. They have already increased production by 30% on a 5 mm thick, stainless steel spacer part moved from a mechanical press over to their new AIDA servo press. Additionally, Clips & Clamps has benefited from extended tool life for this progressive die while greatly reducing forward and reverse tonnage," said a spokesperson.

AIDA servo and mechanical stamping presses range in capacity from 30 to 4,000 tons, from 1 to 1,500 strokes per minute, from gap frame to straightside, high speed to cold forging, transfer and progressive die, material handling and coil feeding equipment.
