STANDARD MODERN Names Master Dealer and Now Stocks Lathes in USA

RACER Machinery International, Inc., manufacturer of the STANDARD MODERN lathe, has entered into an agreement with Vander Ziel Machinery, located in west Michigan, to become a Master Stocking Dealer in the USA for the STANDARD MODERN lathes.

Vander Ziel Machinery has been a distributor of new and used machinery for the metalcutting industry for 25 years. "Their previous successes and reputation in the industry as well as their ability for marketing made them an obvious addition to the STANDARD MODERN dealer network," said a RACER spokesperson.

Andy Vander Ziel, Vice President, Vander Ziel Machinery, said, "We are excited to partner together and better serve the industry with quality North American made lathes."

"The STANDARD MODERN lathe is the only lathe line manufactured in North America," said the spokesperson. "Since 1931 STANDARD MODERN has delivered tens of thousands of units in the field serving the military, education, job shop, tool room and other turning applications."

With the addition of Vander Ziel, RACER will be stocking popular sizes of the STANDARD MODERN lathe, namely, 1440, 1860, 2080 and 2680.
