GH-18 Electric Tapping Arm

As a part of a year-long 50th anniversary celebration, Fox Machinery Associates (FMA) has announced its partnership with U.S.-based FlexArm, Inc. to offer the Mid-Atlantic region and New York, tapping arms, die grinders, torque reaction arms, CNC drills, part manipulators and helicoils.

"FlexArm, and its subsidiary FlexDrill CNC, have proven themselves valuable to our customer base. The quality, performance and technical support for these products aligns with the mission of Fox Machinery," said Mike Kistler, President of FMA.

"We strategically work with partners that have extensive histories of proven success, excellent track records helping customers with technical expertise and superior customer service. We want to help manufacturing companies with our machine tools so they can make parts faster, be more competitive and make money," said FlexArm President Nick Kennedy.

"Backed by the same quality and support as FlexArm, its subsidiary FlexDrill CNC offers drilling and milling machines that make in-house machining cost-effective," said a company spokesperson. "These machines stand out from the crowd for their innovative ability to work in `Pendulum Mode' which allows for 100% spindle uptime." This process lets the operator safely load/unload one side of the machine while the spindle is working on the other side, and vice versa.

"The FlexCNC targets a void in the market where only conventional, small-bed, aluminum cutting machines existed within the budget of most fabricator/machine shops," said the spokesperson. "For shops looking for versatility in a machining center built for steel and aluminum, and would like a large machine bed for versatility, we have the solution to give companies a competitive edge."

New to the market is the GH-18 electric tapping arm which is the first of its class, offering 59 ft-lbs. of torque with 110V of electricity. Designed for efficiency, this machine is portable and offers a full range of compatible accessory options.
