Central Tube and Bar Receives ISO Certification

Central Tube and Bar has earned ISO 9001:2015 certification, underlining the company's commitment to high quality tube and bar products and innovative technologies. Previously certified under the ISO 9001:2008 standards, Central Tube and Bar underwent an extensive audit by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. to meet the updated 2015 ISO certification standards that now include more customer and industry focused requirements.

"Our continued certification illustrates our promise of quality to our customers and proves that we are constantly seeking to improve and to pass that benefit on to our customers," said Dustin Ward, President of Central Tube and Bar. "We have continued to invest in cutting edge technologies to provide American manufacturers with quality fabricated components while being the low-cost provider through fundamental ISO quality management values. Our registration with ISO 9001:2015 is a milestone in our continuing goal to keep our customers at the forefront."

As a metal fabricator and supplier, Central Tube and Bar serves customers in industries that are often subject to a high level of risk, especially with recent changes to international trade policies. The updated ISO certification requires risk-based thinking and risk management to ensure an end-to-end policy to achieve corporate objectives, protect staff and business assets and ensure financial sustainability. As part of the ISO certification process, Central Tube and Bar created policies that pass that stability on to customers and continue to provide quality bar and tube products despite inherent risks in the metal industry.

In tandem with risk management, the ISO 9001:2015 certification requires a contextual approach that looks at the unique interests and problems faced by Central Tube and Bar customers. "The new ISO 9001:2015 certification proves that Central Tube and Bar is devoted to exceptional customer service," said a company spokesperson.

Central Tube and Bar is a distributor and processor of high-quality carbon, alloy, aluminum and stainless tube, carbon and alloy bar and other steel products. Headquartered in Conway, AR, and with locations across the mid-south, Central Tube and Bar serves some of the largest OEMs and fabricators in the heavy truck, bus, hospitality, aerospace, manufacturing and energy industries.
