Large-Scale 3-Axis Positioner

PEMA APS 70000, the latest addition to the Skymaster family, is a large-scale 3-axis positioner that has the capability to carry 70 metric tons (153,000 lbs.) in rotating, tilting or lifting position. The design and technical features are based on the experiences from previous models and is designed to fulfill requirements of thick wall workpieces.
The dimensions of the positioner enable handling and attaching of large workpieces, and due to fitted supporting rolls, long workpieces can also be rotated. Integration to PEMA WeldControl 100 enables the collection of production data, diagnostic and welding parameters (WPS-library). Precise rotation helps ensure efficient multilayer welding and high quality. Grounding of the welding current is a standard feature. Options include preheating accessories, wireless control and special table plate designs.
