Hand-Held Marking System with New Accessories

The battery operated hand-held marking system FlyMarker mini is a lightweight dot peen marker from MARKATOR. Weighing 2.7 kg and featuring a compact design, this marking unit is suitable for durable markings of big and unmovable workpieces directly on-site. With a new optional column frame, it is also easy to mark small workpieces or type plates.

The mobile marking unit can be placed in the column frame and fixed with a clamping lever. Smooth-running linear guides allow quick adjustment of the marking pin distance and the marking can be started directly. Due to the T-slot base plate of the column frame, it is possible to mount the optional MARKATOR type plate as well as individual plates produced by the customer to position the workpieces needing to be marked.

The portable marking system is suitable to mark a variety of materials with a hardness of up to 63 HRC. The system features two lithium-ion batteries and the housing consists of break-resistant glass fiber reinforced plastic. The system is capable of marking characters, numbers, logos, test symbols and data matrix codes.

With this new version of the FlyMarker mini with an integrated barcode scanner it is possible to scan 1-D and 2-D codes (barcodes, QR codes, etc.) without any external accessories. The scanner is integrated directly onto the front face of the marking unit. In this way barcodes can be scanned quickly and the content can then be marked in characters directly on a workpiece. Depending on the material and customer requirements, the marking force and marking depth can be adjusted. A carrying case contains all components of the marking system.

The software is designed to be easy to understand and enables intuitive operation of the hand-held marking system. Through the use of the latest processor technologies, fast navigation and quick access times to marking files are possible.

Hundreds of marking files, fonts and logos can be stored and administered in the internal memory of the marking unit, and many language versions are available.
