MGS Consolidates Equipment Divisions

MGS Mfg. Group, Inc., a global provider of optimized manufacturing solutions for high precision plastic products, has merged its two equipment groups - MGS Automation and Universal Multishot Systems (UMS) - under one roof. The new building is located a couple of blocks from the MGS Corporate Headquarters campus in the industrial park in Germantown, WI.
"The consolidation of these two groups makes logistical sense, since both disciplines design and build machinery," said Shawn Krenke, Vice President of the MGS Equipment Group. "Being able to share resources between both divisions will benefit MGS as well as our customers. Another benefit is that it will be easier to provide customer tours of MGS Automation now that the team is located closer to our Germantown tooling and molding operations."
The new facility is 40,000 square feet and will provide additional capacity for both groups to taken on new projects. There are currently 30 employees working under the UMS and Automation divisions, which are now jointly referred to as the MGS Equipment Group.
