Automatic Nozzle Functions

The Bystronic BySprint Pro 3015 and 4020 laser cutting machines feature a combination of automated nozzle functions designed to increase productivity, reduce consumable costs and provide process safety.
According to the company, the automatic nozzle changer can change nozzles after a preset number of pierces and can quickly select a new nozzle from over 40 available nozzles. "Each nozzle change takes only seconds to complete and is further enhanced by an automatic nozzle centering device that can center the nozzle within seconds. If the machine detects a nozzle contact while cutting, the system will automatically perform a nozzle centering routine. These automated nozzle functions ensure the correct nozzle size is selected for each material type and thickness, saving valuable assist gas consumption and ensures the highest maximum speed and cut quality for each material while providing additional process safety.
