Magnetic Workholding Chucks

"Techniks MagVISE workholding chucks are built to be fast, reliable and save on set-up time," said a company spokesperson. "Magnetic workholding is able to machine on all four sides and the top of the workpiece, so operators can cut more metal faster." Magnetic workholding is used for face milling, edge milling, drilling and boring operations on thick or thin workpieces.

MagVISE chucks are designed to save time and increase production. MagVISE chucks are available in a wide variety of types and sizes to fit various machines, from large dedicated chucks, to modular types and custom chucks. Techniks makes chucks for 4- and 5-axis machining and vertical turning applications. MagVISE magnetic chucks integrate with pallet changing and tombstone systems to the operator's requirements.
