The Ultimate Multi-Tasking Live Center from Royal Products, a U.S. manufacturer of machine tool performance accessories, is built to increase the accuracy, capability and functionality of multitasking CNC machines, while extending their operating life.

The Royal Ultimate Multi-Tasking Live Center's spring-loaded design overcomes the lack of hydraulic compensation on tailstocks, which protects lower turrets and sub-spindles against overloading or crashes. "The sealing characteristics of the center's exclusive Royal Roto-Shield coolant slinger and an upgraded, spring-loaded neoprene shield that is resistant to abrasion, high temperatures and virtually all metalworking fluids also give it a bearing life superior to other spring-type live centers," said a company spokesperson.
The Royal Ultimate Multi-Tasking Live Center has a runout guaranteed to +/-0.0001" TIR or better. It also incorporates a heavy-duty bearing configuration and optimized spring-pak, designed for all multitasking CNC machines.
