Expanded Oil-Free Polymer Lubricant Line

IRMCO Advanced Metalforming Lubricants has expanded its oil-free polymer lubricant line to help metalformers comply with the EPA's May 2016 chlorinated-paraffin ban.

"IRMCO first abandoned this traditional oil-based additive in 1983, developing industry benchmark products such as the 146, 323, 536 and now the 313 series of metalworking lubricants," said a company spokesperson. "These products have been used worldwide to lower process costs and improve productivity in plants where chlorinated paraffin has been a mainstay: heavy-duty thick gauge high strength steel drawing and stamping."

IRMCO offers LeanGreen non-oil metalforming fluids and gels and provides engineering services to help customers optimize more than 80 manufacturing, assembly and environmental areas.
