Mitsubishi Materials Partners with MachiningCloud

Mitsubishi Materials, manufacturer and supplier of cutting tools, has partnered with MachiningCloud, a product data provider for cutting tools, machines and workholding.

"This partnership will simplify the process of finding the right machines, cutting tools and workholding for Mitsubishi Materials customers for their manufacturing jobs, as they will have instant access to current and complete tooling data without the hassle of searching through printed catalogs and multiple websites to find ideal tooling," said a spokesperson.

Mitsubishi Materials customers will be able to download descriptive, usage and geometric information directly into their shop floor software, such as CAM, simulation and tool management systems. The MachiningCloud provides an intuitive way to allow users to generate 3-D models and 2-D drawings of the tool assembly built in the application.

"Our partnership ensures that customers of Mitsubishi Materials are a click away from more complete and more accurate tooling data, which directly affects the quality of the final product," said Stephane Julien, Cloud Evangelist for MachiningCloud. "With that kind of information at your fingertips, greater productivity is the result."
