North American Stamping Group Installs COE Coil Processing Line

COE Press Equipment recently installed a new press feeding line at North American Stamping Group's (NASG) Portland, TN, facility, which produces stamped parts and welded assemblies for the automotive and other industries. This system joins 10 other COE lines already installed at various NASG locations.

The 72" line can process coil from 0.040" to 0.325" thick material depending upon the width and steel strength. It features a 72" servo roll feed with a ServoMaster Touch controller, a 72" by 14' dual threading table with a roller top and a 50,000 lb. capacity coil reel. The line also includes a COE 406 power straightener featuring ultrasonic variable speed loop control with a three-position selector switch.

Additionally, the system comes with perimeter guarding and safety controls. COE also provided installation, start-up and training for the lines.
