Stability for Heavy Machines: Machine Feet with a Hollow Bolt

The new machine feet with a hollow bolt in the norelem product range were developed for large machines and systems, and especially suited for use in robotics and automation.

The hollow bolt enables secure anchoring in the floor

norelem is expanding its product range to include a new series of robust machine feet with a hollow bolt, developed for large machines and systems, and especially suited for use in robotics and automation.

The main purpose of machine feet is to stabilize machines and optimize their positioning. They level out uneven surfaces, damp vibrations, and distribute the load evenly, which provides secure footing for the machine and reduces noise and vibrations. This improves working conditions and also provides long-term protection for the floor and the machine, thus extending the service life.

The new series comprises four product families:

  • Leveling feet with a hollow bolt
  • Steel hollow bolts for leveling feet with a length of 85 mm, 95 mm, and 170 mm (galvanized or black phosphatized)
  • Steel disks for leveling feet with a diameter of 100 mm, 120 mm, and 150 mm (painted yellow or black phosphatized)
  • Hex nuts similar to DIN 934.

The hollow bolt enables secure anchoring in the floor-ideal for dynamic loads. The fine threads enable precise leveling, also on uneven surfaces or inclinations up to 3°. Their load-carrying capacity of up to 60 kN (M24x2) or 90 kN (M36x2) makes the machine feet especially suitable for heavy systems.

Customers can purchase the machine feet as a complete unit or as single parts: disk, hollow hex bolt, and matching nut. Since the disk and bolt are not permanently connected, this offers additional mounting flexibility.
