Methods Machine Tools to Unveil National Center of Excellence

Methods Machine Tools, supplier of high-precision CNC machining centers, automation, and engineering services, will cut the ribbon on its new National Center of Excellence at its Chicago Regional Technical Center during an open house event on Thursday, April 9, from 10 AM to 3 PM.

The Methods Center of Excellence (COE) is a 7,000 sq. ft. facility that will feature hands-on programs focused on technical, electrical, mechanical, and product training for Methods' nationwide customers and team members.

The facility will also welcome next-generation manufacturers and engineers from area schools to bolster the region's access to the latest industry trends and technologies.

"Relationships, service, engineering, partnerships-these are core principles that have served our customers and team for nearly 70 years," said Rick Alton, Methods CEO. "The Methods Center of Excellence will bring these principles to life in a world-class environment to support growth and knowledge of every student who visits."

Methods and builder-partner factory-certified product experts from around the United States and Japan will lead training and courses that cover the full range of Methods' machining, applications, and engineering portfolio.

"Our customers deserve investment into the most innovative and thoughtful support throughout their partnership with Methods," added Jacob Krotz, Manager of the Center of Excellence. "Area students and future manufacturing leaders deserve the same. The Center of Excellence is built around a hands-on training philosophy. It will be a place we roll up sleeves, remove sheet metal and way covers, and dig deep into the heart of what makes our people and machines the best in the industry."

In addition to the Center of Excellence, event attendees will also access the large showroom to view demonstrations, meet with product experts, and learn about Methods services.

A Methods Student Day event for area educators and students will be hosted on Friday, April 10.
