Expanded Solid Carbide, Long-Length Drill Lineup

Kennametal Inc. has announced 12xD and 50xD solutions for its KenDrill HPR Solid Carbide Long Length Drills lineup, modernizing the deep drill offering with features such as a new point geometry and coating with 4-margin lands for longer tool life.
Featuring Kennametal's KCK10A grade, the high-performance drills are designed for aerospace, transportation, general engineering, energy, and earthworks shops seeking increased wear resistance, toughness and durability.
The new drills feature:
- 135° HPR point with radius design at cutting edge corner
- Patented gashing
- KCK10A grade with ultra-fine grain substrate
- A 4-margin design
- Highly polished surfaces.
