ER Series Inductive Proximity Sensors



Keyence now offers the ER Series inductive proximity sensors. This series features a long detection range with enhanced stability. The lineup of sensor models works for a variety of applications due to its robust design. Features, including 360 indicator lights, Factor 1 detection, and more, offer improved performance and ease of use.

An increased sensing range and enhanced stability help reduce downtime and false detection. The sensor features an all-metal detection surface that helps to maintain reliable detection, even in rough environments.

"The rugged design of the ER Series protects against impact and abrasions, as compared to plastic detection surfaces on conventional sensors that are constantly damaged and replaced," said a company spokesperson. "All metal types in this series were designed to ensure reliable performance in any harsh environment, such as welding, machining centers, and washdown environments."

The ER Series Proximity Sensor offers a variety of additional benefits, ranging from clear status detection to easy installation and set-up. Its bright, 360° indicator light allows for sensor status to be seen at any angle. It also features quick-swap brackets to simplify installation. Additionally, the ER Series is a Factor 1 sensor, giving it the ability to detect any metal, whether ferrous or nonferrous.
