The Sherpa Lifter's configurable design makes it adaptable to various applications, including tunneling, lifting, and roller top operations. A compact size of 47" x 31" x 11" (1,200 x 800 x 275 mm) allows for operation in constrained spaces. With a high lifting capacity of up to 2,200 lbs. (1,000 kg), the Sherpa Lifter accommodates a wide range of loads. High-speed operation, up to 1.5 m/s, enables rapid material handling, and precise positional accuracy of ±0.8 in (±20 mm) and ±2 degrees helps promote reliable and consistent placement of goods. Additionally, customization with conveyor tops, trolley plates, pallet plates, and tunneling pins adapts the AMR to specific application needs.
The Sherpa Lifter facilitates the automated movement of trolleys, optimizing material flow through the tunneling of trolleys. Bidirectional travel increases flexibility and efficiency in navigating facility environments, thus enhancing maneuverability and reducing cycle times, while in-place turning offers increased maneuverability in tight spaces. With 3D LiDAR-based natural navigation, this navigation requires no infrastructure changes and offers precise and reliable navigation even in dynamic environments, the company reported.
A long run time enables operation for up to 9 hours on a single charge, maximizing uptime. The quick auto-charging feature fully charges the Lifter in just 2 hours, enabling continuous operation. A 48V NMC swappable lithium-ion battery enables multiple shifts with low downtime.
The Sherpa Lifter is Industry 4.0 ready, integrating seamlessly with Factory MIS and WMS, enabling data-driven optimization. OTA software updates are constantly applied, offering enhanced performance and access to new features. Its automated solutions enable pallet handling, custom lifting applications, and conveyor transfer, reducing manual labor and increasing efficiency.
Managed with Ati Fleet Manager, the Sherpa Lifter offers fleet traffic management, analytics, scheduling, and diagnostics. It handles varied light conditions, including twilight and dark mode operations. Autonomy safety compliance with ISO 3691-4 provides safe operation in shared workspaces, and an IPX4 rating provides protection from splashing water, allowing for operation in damp or wet environments.
