Conor Knox
Knox Manufacturing Solutions, a full-service distributor of Mazak, Mitutoyo and other lines of CNC equipment and services, has announced the promotion of Conor Knox to Sales Manager.
Upon graduation from Christendom College, Knox achieved his CMSTE certification though the Association of Manufacturing Technologies. He then joined Yuasa International, working his way up to regional sales manager of the East Coast for the Takamaz automated machine division. After several years with Takamaz, Knox took over as the North American sales manager at Pietro Carnaghi Machine Tools, growing its North American sales substantially.
Knox joined Knox Manufacturing Solutions in 2020 and has played several roles, including territorial sales manager of the Cincinnati region. He was appointed full time sales manager over the entire Knox territory, which includes southern Ohio and northern Kentucky.
Knox belongs to one of the AMT leadership groups and is a regular at Aileron's Management Center, as well as University of Cincinnati's Goering Center.
Knox grew up in the family business, and is quick to point out: "I have worked for the company for over 30 years, but have only been getting paid for it for the past five!"
Knox's younger brother, Michael, joined the company three years ago, and between the two of them the next generation of Knox Manufacturing Solutions is already helping to transform the company to reflect the changing dynamics of the manufacturing industry and to adapt products and services to best meet the new demands which modern manufacturing requires to stay globally competitive.
