Mitutoyo Announces Two-Day Open House Showcasing Precision, Education, Partnership

April 1 and 2 will bring inspection, education, and service into focus during Mitutoyo Madness, a two-day open house hosted by Mitutoyo America Corporation at its corporate headquarters and showroom in Aurora, IL. The event offers a hands-on look at precision inspection systems, digital hand tools, calibration services, training, applications support, and long-term service that support quality long after a system is installed.

The open house is for quality professionals, engineers, decision makers, and manufacturing leaders from large enterprises to small job shops, allowing them to see firsthand what Mitutoyo has been engineering, developing, and supporting across the inspection landscape.

Attendees will experience live demonstrations of Mitutoyo precision measurement solutions, including vision systems, coordinate measuring machines, optical equipment, form measurement, and precision digital measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators. Product experts and applications engineers will be on hand to answer questions, discuss real-world use cases, and help visitors understand how these tools fit into modern manufacturing environments.

The event places a strong emphasis on education and service. Mitutoyo will showcase educational offerings, including training and instruction in dimensional metrology, as well as calibration and service capabilities. Mitutoyo calibration services are traceable second only to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the company reported.

Facility tours will give attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the Aurora headquarters, including calibration, repair, and solutions areas. These tours are designed to show how Mitutoyo supports customers throughout the full lifecycle of their measurement systems, from initial application support to long-term service and calibration.

Educational seminars are planned throughout both days, covering topics such as roughness measurement, data-driven inspection, smart factory concepts, and practical approaches to quality assurance. These sessions are intended to be accessible and valuable for seasoned quality managers and those new to advanced metrology.

The open house also provides opportunities for one-on-one conversations with Mitutoyo specialists, informal networking, and collaboration across shared manufacturing communities. Whether visitors are evaluating new inspection equipment, refining quality processes, or simply looking to strengthen their metrology knowledge, the event is designed to be practical, informative, and approachable.

Registration details and additional information are available by contacting Mitutoyo directly.
