Azoth 3D Expands Metal 3D Printing Capabilities
March 1, 2026
Azoth 3D has partnered with Incus to enhance its production capabilities using the Incus Hammer Lab35, a cutting-edge lithography-based metal manufacturing (LMM) system. This collaboration enables Azoth 3D to deliver small, complex metal parts with turnaround times of 5-7 days.
The adoption of Incus' LMM technology marks a significant step forward in Azoth 3D's mission to provide high-quality metal components with shorter lead times, increased design freedom, and cost efficiency. The Hammer Lab35 machine utilizes a photopolymerization-based process to achieve fine feature resolution and surface finish, making it suited for complex geometries and intricate designs.
Azoth 3D's deployment of the Hammer Lab35 will focus on two key materials essential for industrial applications:
- 316L stainless steel-A corrosion-resistant material widely used in medical, food processing, and marine applications
- 17-4 PH stainless steel-A high-strength, precipitation-hardened steel offering durability in aerospace, automotive, and tooling applications
- Titanium-Currently available for production, it is widely utilized in defense, medical, and aerospace industries for its strength, durability, and lightweight properties.
"Incus' LMM technology allows us to bridge the gap between rapid prototyping and end-use production with an unmatched lead time of just 5-7 days," said Cody Cochran, General Manager and co-founder. "This is a game-changer for industries that require high-quality metal components quickly and cost-effectively."
"We are excited to collaborate with Azoth 3D and bring the advantages of LMM technology to more manufacturers," added Denise Modder, Head of Application Engineering at INCUS. "The Hammer Lab35's ability to produce fine-detail metal parts with exceptional surface quality aligns perfectly with Azoth 3D's vision for rapid and efficient production."
If a customer is ready to order parts, Azoth makes it easy with its secure Smart Quote system, a digital tool that streamlines the process for parts that need to be delivered sooner. With the Smart RFQ platform, users can quickly upload 3D data and 2D drawings and receive quotes the same day on most projects.
