ADDiTEC Unveils Laser Powder Bed Fusion Technology

ADDiTEC has launched its new Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) technology platform.

"The new LPBF system represents a significant expansion of ADDiTEC's metal 3D printing portfolio, complementing its industry-leading Directed Energy Deposition (DED) and Liquid Metal Jetting (LMJ) solutions," said a company spokesperson. "With the introduction of LPBF, ADDiTEC now becomes one of the only companies in the world to offer three complementary metal additive manufacturing technologies, giving customers unmatched flexibility and capability across applications."

"Our new LPBF platform, Fusion S, brings high-precision, production-grade metal 3D printing to the forefront of our offering," said Brian Matthews, CEO of ADDiTEC. "This launch marks a major milestone in our mission to deliver a full-spectrum metal AM portfolio that addresses the most demanding use cases-from aerospace and defense to medical and energy. RAPID is the perfect venue to showcase this evolution."

The Fusion S system is a fully optimized platform that offers:

  • High-resolution printing for complex geometries and fine features
  • Compact footprint with integrated powder handling and post-processing capabilities
  • Industrial-grade performance in a user-friendly, turn-key package
  • Closed powder architecture to enable operation without direct contact with metal powder
  • Optimized print parameters for titanium, stainless steel, cobalt chrome, and other advanced alloys.

ADDiTEC's Fusion S system is suited for high-value applications in aerospace, defense, medical, energy, and tooling industries.

"By offering three complementary technologies-DED, LMJ, and LPBF-ADDiTEC enables customers to choose the right process for the right job with seamless support from a single trusted partner," said the spokesperson.
